Pressing the 'Tab' or 'Shift-Tab' key toggles the highlight bar
between the Data Entry Window and the Scan Window. The Data Entry
Window is where you input your search instructions. The Scan Window
displays the listings that have been retrieved. When the highlight bar
is in the Scan Window, you can use the up/down arrow keys or the Page
Up/Page Down keys to browse the listings that you have retrieved.
Additional information regarding a highlighted listing is
displayed in the Listing Display Window in the upper right hand corner
of the screen. Additional information includes the full address, which
in some cases may not fit in the Scan Window. Select Phone, Free Phone,
and Canada Phone also contain additional information such as the date
the listing was last published in a white page directory. These three
products also have additional information relating to business records
such as the type of business, SIC codes, and the approximate number of
employees.
//ENTER
Pressing the 'Enter' key initiates a search for listings that
match the information you have entered in the Data Entry Window.

Window. You can tag as many listings as you please. Pressing 'Space'

F-4.

restrictive search is where you enter information in two or more fields.
A sort is where you instruct the software to retrieve listings that are
related to the highlighted listing, i.e. sorting by address will display
neighbors of the highlighted listing; sorting by telephone number will
display all listings with similar telephone numbers; sorting by name
will display all the records with a similar name.
Sorting by address and telephone number is currently supported by Select
Phone, Free Phone, and Canada Phone. Sorting by name is supported by the
entire ProPhone product line.
